The Town of Walden is a wonderful gem that we need to protect. We need to work together to address our traffic issues, our growth issues, and our infrastructure issues.
Angela’s Top Three Priorities
Safeguard the quality of life in Walden by upholding our Land Use Plan and our Town Ordinances.
Listen to our citizens and work closely with other governmental agencies as needed.
Continue to address traffic and connectivity issues throughout Walden.

“Angela has been an active part of the Steering Committee for the Walden Ridge Land Use Plan of which I chair. I have found her to be professional, thoughtful, and a team player. Her planning and zoning background have been of great value to the Town of Walden. She listens to the citizens and cares about her community. I think she would be a great asset as an Alderman to the Town of Walden.” -Chip Baker.
“Angela Cassidy is a candidate for the mountain, preserving its beauty, protecting it, and helping it grow with good principles. She is running for Alderman for the Town of Walden and is a person of integrity and honor. As chair of McCoy Gardens, I met Angela volunteering at these beautiful local gardens. Working side by side I have found her to be a reliable, considered, experienced, and knowledgeable person who cares deeply about the character and beauty of this mountain we share. She has been instrumental in the Walden Land Use committee, which just won an award from the American Planning Association, TN chapter. She seeks to honor the history of Waldens Ridge and works toward common sense, principled solutions. She is engaged in planning and has the valuable experience and knows how to get a good job done. I know Angela personally and professionally and endorse her as a candidate for the entire mountain as Town of Walden Alderman.” -Sallie Ford

“Angela Cassidy has the credentials to be a very fine Walden Alderman. She has an MS in City Planning from Georgia Tech. She has worked to preserve Walden’s heritage, both its natural and built assets, by serving as a member of the Walden Land Use steering committee. She listens well, is very smart, and works hard to find the best solution for difficult problems. Please join me in voting for Angela Cassidy for the Town Alderman position.” Linda Collins
